The Impact You’ll Make In this position, as Test Manager , you will lead a team of engineers to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will work across organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as the opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing. Drive the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Lead the team on new test software and fixtures deployment including defining the criteria, designs, documents, builds, calibrates, troubleshoots and meet/exceed all safety, quality, cost, efficiency and productivity deliverables. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Drive systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Lead the team to resolve test issues cross functionally with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, Pilot Manufacturing, and Design Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for transitioning test on new products to Manufacturing, resolving any manufacturing floor test issue, improving product quality, and reducing the test cycle time. The candidate should have good experience at a semiconductor fab, very familiar with capital equipment and challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Experience with vacuum, pressure control, Temperature Control, RF and gas delivery systems.
- Works cross functionally with design engineering and the pilot group for new product development.
- Has a working knowledge of SAP functions for manufacturing.
- Experience in Forecasting, Raise and Manage Capital, Operational Expenditure cost to meet Factory Operational Excellence on target.
- Drive Product output on time and meet Safety and Quality standards.
Who We’re Looking For
BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering and >10 years of experience in the following areas:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for purposes of teaching, investigating, and influencing team members and stakeholders up to and including internal and external executives.
- Excellent knowledge in Etch and Semiconductor capital equipment.
- PCBA and component life cycle management: Specification, Manufacture, Assembly, Test/Inspection, and Sustaining.
- Experience in Test Engineering/Development environment with in-depth knowledge of C#, Python or other scripting languages.
- Working knowledge of Statistical analysis, DOE, GR&R (MSA), 5-Why, 6S/7W, t/F tests, box plot and 8D.
- Working knowledge of electrical & manufacturing standards (Semi S2, OSHA, ISO9000/14000, RoHS, UL, IEEE, MIL, IPC 610/620).
- Semiconductor equipment system and component knowledge.
- PCBA manufacturing, inspection, and test processes.
- Working knowledge in developing and maintaining Test fixturing.
