Senior Fund Accountant

Our US client in the investment management firm space (VC & PE)is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as financial statements / reports preparation, bank reconciliation and analysis of financial data. As an integral member of the finance department, this individual will work directly with our two Finance Directors to perform accounting for the funds, GPs, and the management company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Calculate and verify daily/monthly Net Asset Values (NAVs) for assigned funds
- Prepare and review financial statements for funds and limited partnerships
- Perform reconciliations of cash, positions, and pricing for fund portfolios
- Monitor and process corporate actions and income events
- Conduct performance attribution analysis and prepare performance reports
- Review and validate fund expenses and fee calculations
- Assist in the preparation and review of investor statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with fund accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors during fund audits
- Support regulatory reporting requirements
- Assist in the valuation of complex financial instruments
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of fund accounting systems
- Perform other duties as directed by Finance Directors or CFO
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA certification preferred
- Experience working directly with US audit teams
- US GAAP or IFRS Experience
- Experience working in private equity is a plus(though not required)
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of working under pressure
- Ability to manage both routine and complex tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
