Job details

Our high performing buying team is on the move and opens up for the first time in the store's history the opportunity for the person with the right stuff to join our grocery team here beside the beach. Today we are driven by data, so you will need to bring a strong analytical mindset to the team. That strength will be channeled through your extensive knowledge and experience using SAP inventory and buying systems. We are a fast-paced dynamic industry which requires you to have high energy levels as you continue to seek out best deal options for our customers and our store. Sitting idle and resting on your laurels in this dynamic and constantly changing market requires the right person to have that passion and energy on tap to be successful in striving for excellence in this buying role. Our Grocery team sits within the top 10 within foodies, so results speak for themselves. This top tier performance is based partly on relationships throughout the supply chain and within the store. You will need to have a proven track record in relationship management from the owner operator of a small supplier to your store's inwards goods and grocery team. Your success will be measured not just on buying well but on overall operational efficiency and meeting our customer promise. While we ask a lot, our remuneration package includes a generous bonus scheme which is reflected in our top 10 ranking. To apply for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have the three X factors:

  1. Data analysis with extensive SAP knowledge
  2. Dynamic personality with high energy levels continually striving for excellence for our customer and store
  3. Excellent relationship skills
If you tick these boxes, we want to hear from you. Closing Date: Thursday, 19 December 2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
