Technical Lead

Job Description Coordinating and executing high-level onsite and remote automation technical liaison and rendering services to the installed base at our customers, with responsibility for efficiently reporting the full life cycle of Incidents and Problems. The position will require close collaboration with sales, technical support, and engineering. Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Understand the customer's high-level business challenges for field technical support and match company’s solutions to customer's business and technical requirements.
2. Execute field supports and identify areas of improvement on site for upgrading existing systems or adding new components to ensure the system remains updated, sustainable, and reliable.
3. Plan activities in view of changing workload and manage expectations to deliver effective results.
4. Willingness to travel to sites across the country for support executions.
5. Develop, deploy, and integrate small to mid-sized automation solutions as part of the strategic improvement plans for customers across all market segments.
6. Perform installed-base evaluation, technical consulting, and incorporate improvements to enhance system reliability and availability to minimize process downtime. Document solutions and work performed reports.
7. Respond to incidents and problems coming directly from customers through remote support or on-site support visits.
8. Utilize existing skills and knowledge as well as appropriate support resources to assist customers in finding resolutions to their problems.
9. Escalate calls to vendors to resolve any issues when required.
10. Assist all teams within the service department as required.

• B.E (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics)

• Knowledge and skill in handling Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell Experion, and knowledge of Safety Systems (ESD) and other PLC systems will be considered an added advantage.
• Understanding maintenance techniques such as performing root cause failure analysis, failure mode and effect analysis, single point of failure studies, MTBF, MTBR, failure rate, etc.
• 3 years or more of experience in the field of technical executions.
