Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Certified Medical Coder at Arrow. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient records for billing and insurance purposes. Daily tasks include reviewing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, and ensuring documentation accuracy. Qualifications
- Coding Experience and Medical Terminology knowledge
- Behavioral Health specialization
- Experience with EHRs (DrChrono, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, ModMed, etc.)
- Experience in Health Information Management
- Proficiency in Medical Coding standards
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
