Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations.
- Reconcile payroll data with the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, both electronically and physically.
- Maintain accurate records of employee work hours, overtime, and paid leave, ensuring proper documentation for payroll calculations. Resolve any discrepancies in timekeeping records.
- Assist with payroll adjustments, such as incentives, and salary increases, ensuring timely and accurate inclusion in payroll.
- Ensure proper tax withholding, and benefits deductions are made according to local regulations. Ensure deductions are properly reported and remitted.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees with questions or concerns regarding payroll, such as pay discrepancies, tax issues, or benefits deductions.
- Monitoring emails and ensuring that no ignored emails.
- Handling phone calls from inquiries and concerns
