We’re currently looking for IT Security Manager. The IT Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's information systems and data. This role involves managing security policies, conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, leading a team of IT engineers, and responding to incidents. The IT Security Manager will play a key role in developing the overall security strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Work Location: Pune/ Mumbai Exp Min: 5 - 10 Years Key Responsibilities: 1.Security Strategy Development: o Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security strategy aligned with business goals. o Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. 2. Risk Management: o Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses. o Identify, document, and mitigate potential security risks and threats. 3. Incident Response: o Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting. o Develop and maintain an incident response plan and conduct regular drills and training. 4. Security Operations: o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security team, including monitoring systems and networks for security breaches. o Manage security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM platforms). o Ensure the timely deployment of security patches and software updates. 5. Compliance and Auditing: o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). o Prepare and oversee security audits, both internal and external. o Maintain documentation and reporting for compliance purposes. 6. Team Leadership and Development: o Grow and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers. o Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members. 7.Collaboration and Communication: o Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure security is integrated into all projects and operations. o Act as a liaison between the IT department and senior management to report on security issues and improvements. 8.Security Awareness: o Develop and lead security training and awareness programs for employees. o Ensure staff are informed about the latest security practices and potential risks. 9. Technology and Vendor Management: o Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends. o Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies. o Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and service providers. Qualifications: •Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). •Experience: 5-10 years of experience in information security, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. •Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or related security certifications preferred. •Technical Skills: o Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, SOAR, SIEM systems, and vulnerability scanners. o Strong understanding of network security, encryption methods, identity & access management (IAM), public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Goole Cloud Platform and access control measures. o Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Soft Skills: • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Working Conditions: • This role may require after-hours work to address major incidents Performance Metrics: • Reduction in security incidents and breaches. • Time taken to detect and respond to security threats. • Compliance audit outcomes and certifications maintained. • Team skill development and training effectiveness.
