Acquisition Editor

This candidate will be primarily responsible for working with Guest Editors and authors and bringing in new content to the journal. Responsibilities:

• Contact potential Guest Editors by phone/email and work with them to build Methods Collections
• Work with Guest Editors to recruit authors and assist those authors with the manuscript submissions
• Developing various projects to streamline departmental workflows

• PhD in a STEM field with significant experience in the biological/biomedical sciences
• Excellent English written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently once given a project
