IT Lead Consultant (Pre-Sales and Technical Solutions) Established IT Service Provider Job Responsibilities: NEW! IT Lead Consultant (Pre-Sales and Technical Solutions) Permanent Role Job Scope: Reports to the development manager for platform & solution development. Involved in full software development life cycle with primary focus on roadmap planning, requirement specificaiton, systems design and integration. Play the role of team lead responsibile for the architecture, design & development of key components. Leading a team of software engineer and/or sub-contractors to achieve the necessary deliverables. Work with solution partner to integrate partner's software/hardware components according to specification. On-site deployment of solution at customer site for trial or POC purpose. Work closely with presales team to contribute to technical proposal based on RFP specification. Play the role of subject matter expert to support the delivery team for deployment at customer site Apply technical best practices to work, constantly explore new technology and methdologies to deliver high quality solution Mentor and guide junior software engineers on the team. Requirements: At least 8 years of experience in building large scale, highly scalable software solution. Experience in full software development life cycle of at least 2 large scale commercial application/product development project Domain knowledge of Safe/Smart Cities, C2/C4i, Transport, Environmental Monitoring solutions will be a plus Highly motivated, strong passion in software development/integration work and willing to work in a rapidly evolving environment. Good communications and collaboration skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills Experience in software development methodology such as Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile. Good working knowledge of UML.
