Summary The objectives of the position are: To manage a team of HR professionals and provide a broad-ranging end-to-end HR Operations service to a Company comprising around 1000+ colleagues. To lead and develop the Corporate Travel function of Lidl & Kaufland Asia, being accountable for leading all people, processes, technology, and strategy. What you'll do The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior: Lead and oversee the day-to-day HR operations & travel, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and legal requirements across Asia. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and streamlining of HR operations & travel. Develop, implement, and enhance HR operations & travel policies, processes, and guidelines to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with best practices. Monitor and manage HR compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Lead HR & travel projects, system implementations, and process enhancements, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines and budgets. Drive and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HR operations & travel, recommending and implementing relevant changes where necessary. Build relationships with corporate travellers, and manage any escalated travel issues, providing prompt and suitable solutions. Provide guidance and support to HR team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Stay informed about industry trends and exploring opportunities for innovation and improvement. What you'll need Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines, with at least 8 years solid regional experience in HR operations. Well versed in Employment Ordinance and other related legislations of Hong Kong, Singapore and/or other countries in Asia. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and influence across all levels of the organization. Strategic mindset, with the ability to align HR operations & travel with broader organizational goals and objectives. Ability to adapt to change, embrace innovation, and drive continuous improvement. Independent, detail-minded, and self-motivated with great initiative. Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good command of written and spoken English.
