We are seeking a dedicated Data Center Operations Engineer to support our 24x7 data center operations. This role requires working 12-hour rotational shifts to ensure continuous monitoring, maintenance, and incident response for our critical facilities. Location: One-North/ Tai Seng and Defu (Choose one and please do mention in your resume)
- Continuous Support: Provide 24x7 onsite support for data center operations and critical facilities.
- Monitoring: Perform constant monitoring of BMS systems (upstream to downstream), critical facilities equipment, and other systems including fire safety, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical.
- Incident Response: Act as the first responder and Level 1 escalation point for all onsite operational incidents. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and ad-hoc repairs of mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment.
- Remote Requests: Fulfill all remote hands requests within the Operational and Service Level Agreements.
- Ticketing System: Manage user requests, incidents, changes, problems, and provisioning through the web portal ticketing system following ITIL standards.
- Safety and Security: Ensure effective implementation of data center safety, security, and customer support policies and procedures. Oversee security operations, including managing resources, enforcing house rules, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Maintenance Coordination: Plan and support all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with minimal disruption to data center services.
- ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in M&E/BMS.
- Experience with BMS systems, M&E equipment, and data center environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
- Open to work in 12 hours rotational shift ( 3days work, 2 days off OR 2 days work 2 days off including weekends/public holidays). Off-in-lieu will be provided and adjusted to annual leave.
