Your Mission This position is responsible for establishing the Annual Business Plan for vehicles, including long-term planning. It is also responsible for developing the Vehicle Production Plan and managing its progress. Additionally, this role involves optimizing the car production sequence for daily output using the Cell Sequence system. The position will focus on analyzing and resolving productivity issues to drive continuous improvement. What To Expect Production Planning Analyze yearly and monthly sales plans alongside annual production capacity. Establish operational plans for each shop (Project 1: Assembly shop only; Project 2: including body and paint shops). Manage vehicle production, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Review and update the production operation plan for the next five years. Support Sales/Production meetings and respond to queries from HMC headquarters. Prepare reports for executive review. Optimizing Car Sequence Use Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) tools to set up an 8-week production plan linked to demand forecasting. Optimize vehicle sequence (cell sequencing), including routing control. Manage vehicle sequencing during emergency situations. Handle planning for emergency orders and discontinued vehicle orders. Oversee management of long-term stagnant vehicles. Manage orders and warehousing for BIP defective moving parts. Process Management Monitor vehicle production status and track progress. Manage and analyze actual vehicle production data, such as vehicle types, production periods, and demand. Operate and improve production systems while supporting other departments. Lead productivity improvement initiatives based on DDF. Oversee On-Time Delivery (OTD) management. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry (preferred). Knowledge of vehicle production planning and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with basic automobile mechanisms. Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office, Visual Basic, and SAP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
