Senior Planner

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the team of professional planners and support the Project Controls Lead in all Upstream reporting and management.
• Liaise closely with the Project Management team for day-to-day tasks and requirements.
• Have considerable Planning & Scheduling experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client-side or for a consultancy.
• Experience in dealing with clients on a daily basis in high-pressure environments.
• Project Planning and Scheduling.
• Assist in managing logic networks based on critical path (P6).
• Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports & dashboards to the client.
• Assist in updating the Baseline Schedule including executive summary reports.
• Identify bottleneck areas and alert management as well as develop solutions.
• Assist in the development of weekly snapshots as required by the client.
• Attend meetings with the client and owner and provide information to team members regarding new directions or updated information.
• Develop appropriate systems and procedures to deliver services to the client.
• Be a team leader to ensure all deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion.
• Review and sign off on all deliverables prior to submission to owner & client.

• Must have an undergraduate Civil Engineering degree from a reputable university.
• Must possess a minimum of 12 years of total experience and 8 years of UAE experience, specifically in Abu Dhabi.
• Client-side experience managing PMCs, LDCs, Cost Consultants, and other stakeholders. Contractor experience is mandatory as well.
• Experience in developing and maintaining baseline programmes starting with very little briefs and input.
