Concrete Products and Aggregates - Dublin Region Our Concrete Products and Aggregates business is a high-performance business unit supporting our Irish customers. At Kilsaran, we are trusted by businesses and contractors alike to produce quality construction materials that are fundamental in the creation of our national infrastructure, including large commercial buildings, domestic and agricultural construction, office blocks and major road networks. We are currently looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to support the greater Dublin area. The successful candidate will report into the garage manager and operate as part of the garage team charged with maintaining our mobile fleet. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: 1. Diagnostics and Fault Finding: o Use diagnostic tools to identify faults in vehicle electrical systems. o Inspect and troubleshoot wiring and electronic components. 2. Repair and Maintenance: o Repair or replace faulty components and systems that are under the maintenance responsibility of Kilsaran o Perform routine maintenance to ensure Kilsaran electrical systems meet performance and safety standards 3. Installation: o Fit and install new electronic components such as proximity safety systems, dashcams, reversing cameras, Kilsaran delivery systems and operating monitoring components o Calibrate and audit installed Kilsaran systems 4. Compliance and Standards: o Ensure that all work complies with Irish safety and Kilsaran standards o Stay informed about changes to vehicle safety legislation and emerging automotive technologies 5. System Providers: o Communicate with providers to explain faults, repairs, and associated costs. o Provide recommendations for system upgrades or maintenance schedules. 6. Documentation: o Maintain detailed records of all diagnostics, repairs, and installations carried out. o Prepare reports for management as needed. 7. Health & Safety: o Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times. Skills Required: Expertise in automotive electrical systems and electronic diagnostics tools Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues Ability to explain technical problems and solutions clearly and professionally Willingness to continuously upskill, especially in emerging technologies and systems What You Get: Kilsaran is an organization that believes that our people are our greatest strength, and our success is down to the dedication and enthusiasm of our team.
