Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and entrepreneurial Global Growth & Event Strategy Manager to lead and expand our global events program. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our events, creating meaningful experiences that elevate Marisa's global presence while driving revenue growth. You'll spearhead the planning and delivery of a series of world-class events that inspire attendees, contribute to business growth, and position Marisa Peer as a leader in transformational therapy.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and Execute Growth Opportunities: Develop a comprehensive global events strategy that leverages commercial and profile-building opportunities contributing to the overall expansion of the business.
- Plan and Deliver Impactful Events: Oversee the entire event lifecycle, ensuring each event meets business objectives and delivers exceptional experiences for attendees.
- Venue and Vendor Management: Source venues that align with strategic goals and manage vendor relationships, negotiating favorable contracts to optimize event profitability.
- Lead a Growing Team: Work closely with the RTT Live Events Manager to ensure smooth collaboration and high performance at training events.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently.
- Marketing and Promotional Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Publicity & Events and external PR agencies to drive promotional activities, maximizing event attendance and visibility.
- Logistical Coordination: Ensure flawless execution of all logistical elements from staffing to materials to support successful event delivery.
- Problem-Solving and On-the-Ground Management: Be the go-to problem solver, ensuring that any challenges are quickly addressed and resolved during events.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate the success of events, producing reports and insights that will help optimize future strategies and outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success as an Event Planning Manager or similar role with a strong focus on commercial growth and global event strategy.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A passion for identifying new opportunities and driving business expansion.
- International Event Leadership: A track record of leading international events that align with both revenue and brand-building goals.
- Leadership Skills: Strong experience managing and developing teams to high performance.
- Project Management & Communication: Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in GSuite, Excel, and event management tools.
- Attention to Detail: A focus on delivering quality and solving problems efficiently with a customer-service mindset.
