Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technology Program Manager [Smart Building] to oversee the implementation and management of smart workplace initiatives across the Asia Pacific region for a fortune 100 global bank. The primary objective of this role is to drive enhanced employee and visitor experiences, sustainability outcomes, operational efficiency, and future-proof the organization through the overseeing delivery of cutting-edge smart technologies. The Technology Program Manager [Smart Building] will collaborate closely with various teams, including technology, real estate, corporate services, and vendors, to ensure successful delivery of smart workplace projects and effective management of existing smart workplaces. Responsibilities:- Project managing the implementation and rollout of smart technologies in buildings based on existing smart workplaces.
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, real estate, corporate services, and vendors, to drive the successful execution of smart building projects.
- Perform high quality program and project management ensuring a strong governance, thorough documentation, and efficient communication.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and program/project risks. Effectively communicate with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Become a knowledge leader in the smart workplace providing training and knowledge transfer when required.
- Work with integration leads and technology team to ensure a seamless integration of smart technologies within the existing infrastructure and processes.
- Act as the key contact for the real estate team in existing smart workplaces, addressing any issues, questions, or concerns raised and tracking to resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers.
- Stay updated with the latest smart building trends and technologies and make informed innovation recommendations for future-proofing the bank's workplace strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Facilities Management, etc.). Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in managing smart building initiatives or similar complex real estate projects.
- Strong understanding of smart building technologies, IoT, automation systems, and related concepts.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues and drive process improvements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and green building certifications is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel within the Asia Pacific region as required.
