Our banking client with a large development team in Singapore is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in core Java and multithreading development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable trading applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable microservices using Java technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and architect solutions that meet business needs. Implement best practices for multithreading and low latency applications. Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices. Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance of microservices applications. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in microservices development and contribute to the adoption of new tools and techniques. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience with 3 years in writing multithreading and low latency code. Proven experience as a developer in complex applications. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
