Job details

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence with a customer-centric attitude.

Customer Satisfaction

  1. Take ownership and effectively deal with customer requests, queries, and complaints, taking necessary action based on feedback.
  2. Ensure all customer orders are dealt with immediately, following correct procedures and taking corrective actions wherever required.

Stock Levels and Event Calendar

  1. Prepare and participate in the preparation of sales budgets for discussion with the CM.
  2. Ensure prompt and effective replenishing of merchandise in-store.
  3. Ensure effective space utilization.
  4. Review and effectively deal with slow lines and end of ranges, implementing necessary actions.
  5. Ensure stock levels are sufficient for major events.
  6. Plan, execute, and maintain all sales promotions professionally.
  7. Review and analyze stock and sales reports, monitoring over- and under-stocks, and suggesting corrective actions to the CM.
  8. Coordinate with mall management for promotional activities.

Reporting and Competitor Activity

  1. Submit brief monthly reports to the CM covering sales performance, stock positions and concerns, special events and promotions, and staff movement & issues.
  2. Conduct competitor shopping and provide monthly feedback on competitor and event activities.

Merchandising, Shop Keeping, and Store Standards

  1. Maintain a detailed knowledge of the section merchandise, ensuring promotions and fast-selling lines are featured.
  2. Ensure all products are price tagged and bar-coded before display.
  3. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness for the store, including any back areas.

Human Resources & Daily Store Operations

  1. Manage time effectively for self and subordinates.
  2. Plan the monthly staff rotation of the store.
  3. Identify store training requirements and conduct relevant training.
  4. Address staff-related administrative issues.
  5. Ensure all disciplinary procedures and staff movements are directed through the CM.
  6. Assist in creating an environment conducive to high store morale.
  7. Ensure staff accommodation.

Daily Store Operations

  1. Oversee functional operations in stores.
  2. Ensure random pricing checks on products are completed on time.
  3. Minimize shrinkage in line with targets and implementation of SLAP.
  4. Implement theft policy and procedure.
  5. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
