1. Maintains high-quality standards in product management and presentation.
2. Designs and creates skilled floral arrangements.
3. Creates floral arrangements, corsages, etc. for weddings and special occasions.
4. Establishes sales, gross profit, labor and supply budgets for the Floral Department.
5. Maintains pricing to achieve budgeted gross profit goals.
6. Plans and executes Floral Department merchandising and displays.
7. Leads and readily participates in product promotions and focuses.
8. Provides outstanding customer service and communicates product information to increase sales and meet revenue goals.
9. Leads by example, providing employees with clear expectations and timely feedback.
10. Trains employees and provides performance feedback, coaching and counselling.
11. Conducts quarterly physical inventories and practices inventory control.
12. Prevents internal and external loss.
13. Successfully performs all Floral Clerk duties at an exemplary level.
14. Demonstrates dependability and flexibility; meets attendance requirements.
15. Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Director and Assistant Store Director.

1. Minimum three years floral experience, including weddings and special occasions, required.
2. Minimum five years supervisory experience preferred.
3. Strong leadership skills.
4. Proven success as a team leader and member.
5. Demonstrates a high-level of self-motivation; takes initiative; problem solves.
6. Possesses creative merchandising and display skills.
7. Knowledgeable of gross profit and loss percentages preferred; proven experience working with both.
8. Possesses comprehensive product information with a proven history of using knowledge to best service customers and inform employees.
9. Proven history of personnel development a plus.
10. Ability to effectively delegate and follow-through.
11. Exceptional customer service skills.
12. Superior communication skills.
