Position Overview Brightcove is looking for a Senior Vice President, Sales to lead our APAC sales team. Our ideal candidate has successfully managed and grown a successful sales team. This person has built scalable processes and implemented strategies that have shown measurable success. This sales leader has demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed sales targets in order to increase year-over-year revenue. In addition, they have the capability and experience to accurately forecast growth in the region. Coaching and professional development are critical to this role - you will be working with highly motivated sales professionals in the APAC region as well as other parts of the world, and will be responsible for helping them drive results and achieve a higher level of proficiency in their roles. This position reports to the Executive Vice President, Global Sales based in North America. Job Responsibilities Oversee all revenue in APAC. This position has Sr. Directors or VPs in Australia, India, Korea, and Singapore. Recruit, develop, and oversee the enablement of highly effective and successful sales leaders and professionals (new business and expand/retain business sales reps). Oversee the day-to-day activity including sales forecasting and pipeline management in a high growth selling environment. Monitor and refine sales lead processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success on the team. Deliver the target financial performance from the accounts and regions. Partner with sales operations and global sales leaders to consistently evaluate that the sales processes and methodologies used are effective in helping to grow the business. Lead deal overviews and contract summaries for key stakeholders. Travel when necessary to meet potential prospects, partners and customers. Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement of everyone's role. Skills/Qualifications 10 years sales management experience with a record of achievement in developing successful sales teams and sales strategy ideally for a leading software or enterprise platform sales company. Leadership experience with strategic planning and execution. Exceptional consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners. Possess both a sales and technical background that enables you to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. Domain expertise in Marketing Technology is preferred. Special Conditions Native English fluency is required. This role does involve travel, up to 50%.
