What you will do Organize, manage, and submit Safety Case documentation for submission to regulatory agency. Overall responsible to compile updates required for Safety Case submission. Tasks include consolidation of technical assessments on predictive, process safety, mechanical engineering, electrical control & instrumentation, human factors, emergency response and ALARP. Coordinate / Co-facilitate Safety Case sessions with the business teams. Single point of contact with consultants, as required. Duty includes providing, processing, and finalizing information required for consultants to complete the predictive aspect, as well as quality review of the consequence modelling / risk contours results. Work closely with Process Safety Engineers and assist in the updates/development of Major Accident Scenarios, Safety Critical Events and ALARP demonstration. Maintain and upkeep documentation and records of safety case in the state of readiness for compliance inspection and/or audits. Coordinate and participate in MHD visits for site Safety Case assessments. About you Skills and Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering) Minimum 2 - 5 years of petrochemical/refining experience in one or more of the following areas: Safety, Operations, and/or Engineering Design/Consultant Working experience with hazard identification, risk analysis and assessment methodologies (e.g. Hazard Identification (HAZID), PHAs) Experience in writing and developing QRA and Safety Cases reports. In depth knowledge and understanding of the Singapore Safety Case regime and experience with regulatory interaction would be advantageous Working knowledge of industry codes, standards, and practices relevant to process design and safety (e.g. ASME, API, NFPA, ANSI, etc.) and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) Excellent interpersonal skills, creativity in problem solving, facilitation, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work effectively as a team member or team leader. Highly motivated individual who is continually looking for areas of improvement to enhance the robustness of work processes. Communicates effectively through all levels, from plant operator to upper management. Ability to work with minimal guidance.
