Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Maintenance Team as our Painter at the Hyatt Regency Seattle, focusing on painting, wallpaper, and finishes! This mid-level engineer will be responsible primarily for general painting-related projects and assignments including wallpaper, drywall repair, and finishes. This position will perform repairs and preventative maintenance in public spaces, back of house areas, and guest rooms. Candidates should have a minimum of (3) years of painting experience. As part of the Maintenance/Facilities team, candidates having basic troubleshooting skills involving electricity, plumbing, etc. are preferred but not required. Good communication skills are necessary for this role. The hourly rate range for this position is $29.65 to $30.24. The starting rate for this position is $29.65/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $30.24/hour. As a colleague, we have you covered with awesome benefits and perks!

Qualifications
- Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Minimum 3 years painting experience
- Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
- Must be a team player but able to work independently as well
- Able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
