Job Summary:

The Director of Infrastructure & Cloud position responsible for guiding the strategic direction and operational management of our data centers, network and communication systems, and service desk operations. This role demands a comprehensive expertise in cloud technologies with a strong emphasis on AWS & Microsoft systems such as Azure, Active Directory, and Exchange. The ideal candidate will be tasked with overseeing our database systems, system administration, help desk, and spearheading all infrastructure or cloud initiatives. We are seeking a visionary leader with exceptional team management skills, who can bring a blend of creativity, innovation, and technical acumen to drive our infrastructure projects forward in alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure and Cloud Management: • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all infrastructure and cloud-based systems. • Ensure high availability and reliability of data centers, network and communication systems. 2. Database and System Administration: • Manage the company's database systems, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and integrity. • Lead system administration efforts, focusing on efficiency and scalability. 3. Service Desk Leadership: • Oversee the service desk team, ensuring high-quality support and swift resolution of IT issues. • Implement best practices in IT service management. 4. Strategic Planning and Innovation: • Develop and execute a strategic plan for infrastructure and cloud services that supports the organization's objectives. • Drive innovation in IT infrastructure, exploring new technologies and solutions. 5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing service delivery. • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and ensure alignment of the IT infrastructure with business goals. 6. Team Leadership and Development: • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of IT professionals. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud services, with a strong background in Microsoft systems. • Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS & Azure. • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing large, diverse teams. • Strong strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
