Senior Director - Health & Safety

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director - Health & Safety to spearhead our commitment to safety excellence within Qiddiya, one of Saudi Arabia's most ambitious entertainment projects. This senior leadership role will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs across all aspects of our operations. Your expertise will ensure that our workplace adheres to the highest safety standards, promoting a culture of health and safety that protects the wellbeing of all employees, contractors, and visitors. As a strategic thinker with a robust background in industrial safety and risk management, you will lead our team in achieving organizational goals while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and execute comprehensive health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures to drive organizational success.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazards identification to mitigate potential risks to health and safety.
Develop and deliver training programs to foster a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.
Manage incident investigations, analyzing data to identify trends and implementing corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence.
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Monitor health and safety performance metrics and report findings to executive leadership, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Promote best practices in health and safety across all projects and departments.
Support project managers in integrating health and safety strategies into all phases of project delivery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
At least 15-18 years of relevant experience in health and safety management, specifically in large-scale project environments.
In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective health and safety programs and initiatives.
Exceptional leadership and people management skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Professional certifications in health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) are highly desirable.
Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
