Chief Compliance Officer Digital Lending. Riyadh, KSA. Our client, a regional start-up in the world of digital lending and asset management, founded by a US based Asset Management business, is searching for a Chief Compliance Officer to join their newly established team in Saudi. The company has enjoyed an exciting start to life and is in rapid expansion mode. They have built a comprehensive lending and asset management platform serving SMEs and entrepreneurs in Saudi. They require a Chief Compliance Officer to join their leadership team in Saudi and manage Regulatory Conduct, Risk Management & Compliance, and Auditing & Monitoring. The Chief Compliance Officer will ensure the financial transactions, business activities and general operations adhere to the principles of Shariah law, including compliance oversight, policy development, auditing and risk management, stakeholder communication and ethical advocacy. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting FinTech start-up with massive growth potential. Candidate requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Certificate in Islamic Finance (PCIF) Certification.
  • Strong experience of working in a regulatory environment.
  • Strong technical compliance and lending knowledge and understanding of legal requirements, regulations and Sharia Lending practices.
  • Experience in B2C lending personal loans, credit cards, car loans, mortgages etc.
  • Experience of digital platforms, ideally in a FinTech environment.
  • Managerial experience with true leadership potential.
  • Ability to operate in an autonomous environment with freedom to make decisions and take ownership.
