Job Title: Drilling Fluids Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Drilling Fluids Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our drilling operations, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of drilling projects. The Drilling Fluids Engineer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing drilling fluid systems to meet project goals while adhering to environmental regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement drilling fluid programs that meet project objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct laboratory tests to analyze drilling fluids and recommend appropriate additives and treatments.
3. Monitor drilling fluid properties in real-time to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
4. Collaborate with drilling and geology teams to ensure wellbore stability and minimize formation damage.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of drilling fluid activities.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to drilling crews in the field.
7. Participate in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer within the Oil & Gas industry.
3. Strong knowledge of drilling fluid systems, additives, and treatments.
4. Proficiency in laboratory testing and analysis of drilling fluids.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
8. Willingness to work in remote locations and on-site as needed.
