Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

1. You have an end-to-end hands-on ownership of remote sensing features and various projects.
2. You develop algorithms in key areas in the analysis of multispectral and hyperspectral data.
3. You create PoCs focused on Deep Learning as well as other traditional remote sensing processing.
4. You are eager to explore the possibilities offered by modern Earth Observation.
5. You write maintainable and efficient Python code.
6. You are a team player, working closely with other colleagues while maintaining a clear vision of the value of our diverse offerings.
7. You lead the path of value-driven analytical features that are innovative and deployable to real customers.
8. You embrace the latest cutting-edge AI technologies.

1. Fast prototyping skills, including comprehensive feature integration during all cycles of development.
2. Excellent skills in software development in Python.
3. Hands-on experience with one or more GIS packages (QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.).
4. Hands-on experience with libraries such as Scikit-learn, OpenCV, Pillow, Rasterio.
5. Experience with one Cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.
6. Bonus if you have experience with 3D data processing (LiDAR, stereo-photogrammetry).

1. Ph.D. degree with concentration in Earth Observation (EO) with 3+ years’ experience in software development.
2. Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in developing EO.
