You will join our Business Support Department as Manager for the General Administration Team. The team is responsible for a wide range of administrative and support functions. Our team is in-charge of ensuring the smooth operation of the organization by managing Current LEAN (cLEAN), Environmental, Health and Safety, site security including reception, issuing security cards and greeting guests in daily operation we also ensure that our canteen and cleaning services run smoothly as well as arrange for company events and trips. We have a close collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders in Japanese and English to ensure compliance, optimization and smooth daily operations. Our team is based in Koriyama City, Fukushima, where we foster a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere. The position As a General Administration Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will join the Business Support Management team together with three other managers and the Director. The management team focuses on sparring and development in close cooperation. Other role expectations are, but is not limited to:
- Provide team leadership and individual/team development in alignment with organizational goals and values, ensuring the team possesses the necessary competencies to meet future requirements.
- Ensure that internal and external deadlines are met.
- Team budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Bring together cross-functional activities and support stakeholders in various tasks and processes.
- Ensure GxP compliance as well as compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, including developing and delivering training programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, psychology, HR or a related field, or relevant job experience.
- Management experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. Project Management or other leadership experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership mindset as well as proactive
- Advanced level of Japanese and advanced level of English in writing and speech.
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills for maintaining positive stakeholder relationships with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively, while adapting to changing circumstances and maintaining confidentiality.
