Site Supervisor (Geotechnical)

Responsibilities:

  1. Site supervision of slope stabilization and ground investigation works.
  2. Undertake the role of TCP T3 of RGE stream under the BD supervision requirements or the role of Category I site supervisor for public works.
  3. Verification of design assumptions with actual site conditions.
  4. Check that construction works are carried out according to the design drawing and particular specifications.
  5. Site safety management.

Requirements:

  1. Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a Hong Kong university or Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (including 1 year in ground investigation works); or
  2. Degree in Geology which covers the specified engineering-related subjects as stated in "Item 2.0 of Appendix VII of BD COP for Site Supervision 2009" or Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a Hong Kong university or Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Civil or Geotechnical engineering; or
  3. Degree in Geology which covers the specified engineering-related subjects as stated in "Item 2.0 of Appendix VII of BD COP for Site Supervision 2009" or Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and has passed specified geotechnical top-up course, with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering works.
  4. Experience in ground investigation and slope design and inspection works is an advantage.
  5. Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  6. Responsible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  7. Good command of written and spoken English.
