Our client, the national charity for children in care and young care leavers are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of further and higher education progression routes for care-experienced young people. Advice and Support Assistant for Further and Higher Education Salary: £24,000 per annum pro rata (£14,400 actual salary) Hours: This role is part-time (21 hours per week). They offer flexible working options such as compressed hours and job-shares. Location: They are currently hybrid working. Their team is largely home-based with some in-person attendance and meetings expected (mainly at their central hot-desking location in Old Street, London). In addition, for non-London based staff, they will consider hot-desking options near you, if required. They are open to conversations about flexible working arrangements. Some travel will be required for in-person workshop delivery and attendance at events for young people and professionals. About the Role They are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of further and higher education progression routes for care-experienced young people. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Propel into Education team and the Senior Advice and Support Officer for Further and Higher Education, contributing to initiatives that guide and empower young people with care-experience on their educational journeys. This role will be part of the Services department, but will work closely with colleagues in the Policy, Campaigns and Communications department and across the organisation to support the Propel Programme.
