- About the Role... We now have a full-time ongoing vacancy for a suitably qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team. Located at our manufacturing plant in Glynde and reporting to the Maintenance Manager in this very busy and fast paced role, you will also work closely with our teams in manufacturing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Electrical Maintenance and Repairs - Commissioning, Testing and Inspection, Fault Finding and Troubleshooting - Record Keeping and Documentation - Preventative Maintenance - Safety and Compliance
- About You... As a Maintenance Electrician, you take pride in your strong time management skills and your ability to efficiently handle a variety of electrical tasks, including Electrical repairs, Safety and Compliance, installation, testing, fault finding and record keeping. To be successful, you will need to have the following:
- Qualified Electrician.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG).
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Scissor lift, forklift licence would be an advantage.
- Adaptable with the ability to work in a close-knit team and autonomously as required.
- Committed to afternoon shift (approx. 2pm to 10pm -shift loading applicable).
- Ability to work extra hours and weekend work (O/T penalties are applicable).
