Sunshine Coast location. The Organisation Divest Merge Acquire (DMA) is a leading M&A Advisory firm specialising in business sales and acquisitions to strategic buyers in the $3M-$100M+ value range. DMA operates nationally in a global marketplace, with strong systems and technology, has an extensive database and a broad referral network. DMA has been operating for 25 years and consistently ranks in the top 5 in Australia’s M&A mid-market. The business is also the exclusive Australian member of Corporate Finance International – a global M&A group with 27 offices in 19 countries. Opportunity to:
- Join a leading professional M&A advisory team
- Be involved in interesting, complex and challenging projects
- Provide support on M&A projects for businesses in the $3M-$100M+ value range
- Preparation of comprehensive client financial analysis including:
- Detailed P&L analysis
- Working Capital analysis
- Earnings multiple pricing analysis & strategy
- Offer analysis
- Liaise with clients & other professionals in M&A transactions
- Facilitate and manage data rooms for due diligence
- Be a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to become an integral part of a diverse and social team
- Be on the path to advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint, Outlook and related applications
- Strive to continuously improve knowledge through ongoing professional development
- Be confident in interacting with clients and other professionals’ in meetings, phone calls and via email with support from team members
- Have some experience (3 to 5 years minimum) in an accounting/finance role
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
- Qualified or partially qualified within a business-related discipline – preferably accounting
- Ability to interpret financial statements
