The Lead Product Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision and strategy at Serko. As a senior member of the product organisation, you bring a deep understanding of product, business strategy, market dynamics and leadership to guide large-scale product initiatives across multiple streams. A strong background in the Travel domain or TMC industry combined with a solid understanding of technology products is essential for this position. This role is open to both Australian and New Zealand candidates.
What you will be doing
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with Serko's business goals and market trends.
- Identify and validate market opportunities and user needs to develop a holistic product strategy and road map that supports a wider portfolio-level strategy.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of the product roadmap.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and adjust plans as necessary to deliver product on time and within budget.
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, providing guidance, coaching and fostering their professional development.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
What you will bring
- Proven track record of leadership in product management with experience in guiding successful product launches and leading cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of product management principles and best practices, with proven experience in market analysis, product strategy development and product lifecycle management.
- Strong Travel domain knowledge in a SaaS environment.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using insights to drive product decisions and measure impact.
- Skilled facilitator. Ability to get the best from others while asking tough questions.
