Sustainability Advisor – Homes Initiatives Team

• Hybrid role, combining house visits across Tāmaki Makaurau, working remote and office hours

EcoMatters Environment Trust is looking for a Sustainability Advisor to join our Homes Initiatives Team. In this role, you will perform in-home Water Checks to support people to reduce their water usage, as well as host workshops to educate people about dry, warm and healthy homes.
The role is fast-paced and requires a warm and friendly, yet professional manner. Your amazing interpersonal skills, energy and enthusiasm will ensure you can work with a wide range of people.
The successful applicant will have:
• Previous experience working in or with the community sector
• The ability to work effectively with initiative, timeliness and accuracy
• Confidence when speaking to customers, either face-to-face or on the phone
• Strong administration skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• A willingness to pitch in, as and where needed, adapting to the situation
• Personal integrity and understands the importance of privacy and confidentiality
• A full clean Drivers Licence – a fleet vehicle is provided as our work covers the whole of Auckland
• Practical skills and is able to work with basic tools
