As our new Data Scientist, you'll apply cutting-edge analytical, statistical, and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights. This is a permanent full-time role open to all our offices in Aotearoa (New Zealand). To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:
- Proficiency in FastAPI & prior experience with tools such as LlamaIndex, SciPy, and Benchling.
- Experience working with large language models, including those from Hugging Face, Gemini, and OpenAI APIs.
- A startup background is highly desirable, indicating a well-rounded skillset and depth of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and provision models using real-world data.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
