This position is within the National Security Intelligence team and has a specific focus on Transnational Organised Crime and Terrorism and Violent Extremism. The position will report to the Intelligence Supervisor and will work to deliver national intelligence products which provide decision advantage in the areas of the highest and most complex national security risk. This role is located in Wellington and based in the National Security Intelligence Unit who produce operational and strategic reporting. This role requires the successful applicant to hold and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance, please check your eligibility here prior to applying.   1. Understanding of the strategic, operational and tactical use of intelligence
  2. Competency in problem solving and the ability to think critically, applying a growth mindset
  3. The credibility, integrity, and personality to establish and maintain effective relationships internal and external to the Department of Corrections
  4. Experience and understanding of working in a National Security related area would be advantageous
This role requires travel on occasion, a Full New Zealand Driver Licence will also be required. The midpoint of the salary range is $96,007 and the full range (85%-120%) is $81,606 - $115,209. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
