About the Role We have an opportunity for an Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) Contracts Coordinator to join our Finance Team. This role is an important part of the Christchurch Campus ACC Team by ensuring PMS (Patient Management System) data is accurate and ACC invoicing is timely and complete. You will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring outpatient accident audit reports
  • Investigating missing accident claim details
  • Maintenance of PMS accident claim details
  • Extraction of data from PMS
  • Preparation of monthly billing schedules
  • Investigation of outstanding payments
  • Auditing external revenue data
The role is based in the Corporate office in central Christchurch. However, remote work is available with the expectation to travel to Christchurch from time to time. As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 5/ Profile 5C. For further information about the administration and clerical pay equity settlement - Administration and Clerical Pay Equity - Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand About the Service The ACC revenue team - s key role is the capture and optimise all ACC revenue with a focus on clinical and surgical services. Our team is made up of 4 fantastic members who promote a positive culture by being inclusive, friendly and supportive. About you Our ideal applicant will have ACC knowledge, experience in PMS and Zero and will be proficient in Microsoft Excel. We are looking for an all-round team player that is not afraid to pitch in and help out in other areas to get the work done. You will gain invaluable experience working as part of a finance team making a difference to the Canterbury Health System.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • ACC experience/knowledge
  • PMS/Oracle experience and/or accounting experience in Zero
  • Excellent keyboard skills and proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Previous experience in a public health system is preferred but not essential
