- Under broad direction, provides oversight of the Business Development, Technical Sales and Engineering teams within the Country/Area.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining profitable client relationships with existing and potential clients, and with other PSLs.
- Key technical liaison with excellent knowledge of the challenges for each customer and each market segment.
- Responsible for delivering technical workshops as required, attending and presenting at public forums, identifying and winning potential new business, executing and monitoring POP performance on existing contracts, and delivering on POP as agreed with management in Business Case reviews.
- Ensures POP plan is provided to the PSL analyst post new award, the plan is frequently reviewed and amended within RUBI for visibility to Leadership.
- Responsible for driving mindshare for the NWA and ensuring targets for case studies, technical papers are met.
- Monitors and reports on competitor activities and relaying competitor intelligence to the SLT. Possesses broad and detailed understanding of both financial and technical aspects of the business and has current knowledge of all aspects of Sperry technologies both existing and upcoming.
- Facilitates all aspects of career development of the technical sales organization including requisite training and facilitates on job training (OJT) where applicable.
- Develops Leadership development plans for direct reports and holds frequent check-ins with staff to understand their career plans and assists in facilitating these.
- Must possess excellent relationship-building and communication skills, ability to motivate technical teams, and astute financial acumen.
- Requires an undergraduate degree in
- Engineering and a minimum of 10 years&apos experience within the Drilling and Formation Evaluation sector.
- Ability to supervise staff within a functional area requiring organization and direction of work/activities of subordinates who typically have multiple and diverse tasks.
