Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Remote Operations Lead, you will take ownership of all aspects of the operations in various markets including:
- Identify key operational metrics and manage daily operations effectively while working alongside local Operations Specialists.
- Manage and optimise ground staff rosters, timesheets, and performance.
- Accountability for achieving key performance targets; cost and revenue.
- Analyze operational data and make informed decisions based on market trends and analysis.
- Ensure local team compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, maintaining a secure working environment.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding of field staff.
- Oversee and maintain company assets in the city, including fleet and vans.
- Liaise with the purchasing team to acquire materials and services needed for the warehouse or operational activities.
- Work with the Head of Operations to drive Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, warehousing and supply chain management.
- Innovate constantly on existing processes and products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- 2 years experience in operations management, analysis, or in a fast-growing startup.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with people management and training.
- Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience.
- Highly analytical and creative problem solver, with a product-driven mindset.
- Self-starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business and this is a great position to fast track your start-up career.
- Familiar with Office or Google Suite of applications (Excel/Sheets, Slides etc).
- Good to have but not required: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Looker Studio.
