Operations Associate (ANZ)

Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to the Remote Operations Lead, you will take ownership of all aspects of the operations in various markets including:
1. Identify key operational metrics and manage daily operations effectively while working alongside local Operations Specialists.
2. Manage and optimise ground staff rosters, timesheets, and performance.
3. Accountability for achieving key performance targets; cost and revenue.
4. Analyze operational data and make informed decisions based on market trends and analysis.
5. Ensure local team compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, maintaining a secure working environment.
6. Manage the recruitment and onboarding of field staff.
7. Oversee and maintain company assets in the city, including fleet and vans.
2. Liaise with the purchasing team to acquire materials and services needed for the warehouse or operational activities.
3. Work with the Head of Operations to drive Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, warehousing and supply chain management.
4. Innovate constantly on existing processes and products.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally (strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations.

Qualifications:

1. Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
2. 2 years experience in operations management, analysis, or in a fast-growing startup.
3. Bachelor's degree.
4. Experience with people management and training.
5. Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience.
6. Highly analytical and creative problem solver, with a product-driven mindset.
7. Self-starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business and this is a great position to fast track your start-up career.
8. Familiar with Office or Google Suite of applications (Excel/Sheets, Slides etc).
9. Good to have but not required: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Looker Studio.
