Quality Assurance Engineer

The Role Our client is an industry-leading organisation undergoing a major transformation as they bring their platforms in-house. Purpose   The DevOps Engineer role is to enhance and streamline our clients technology infrastructure, enabling efficient and reliable operations in a dynamic global marketplace. The role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, ensuring system scalability, security, and high availability.Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud services such as AWS and Azure, including deploying and managing scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Action and/or Jenkins.
• Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Strong experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Ability to write scripts for automating tasks, performing data analysis, and managing Systems
• Experience working with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Ability to configure alerts and effectively utilize these tools for troubleshooting issues.
• Experience with tuning system performance, resource allocation, and cost optimization. Proven ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
• Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases, including optimising database performance and ensuring scalability. Ability to contribute to database-related infrastructure decisions.
