  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive Technical Drawing lessons that align with the school's curriculum and instructional guidelines.
  • Teach students the principles of technical drawing, and technical sketching.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and precision in technical drawings.
  • Teach students how to use measuring instruments, scales, and other drafting tools accurately.
  • Provide hands-on experience with drafting equipment, such as drafting boards, T-squares, compasses, and protractors.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support individualized learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate Technical Drawing with other subjects, promoting cross-curricular connections.
  • Stay updated with current industry standards, emerging technologies in drafting, and pedagogical approaches to continually enhance teaching methods and content knowledge.
  • Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to promote open communication and a positive school-home partnership.
Requirements:
  • A strong practicing Spirit-filled Christian, with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related Field.
  • Teaching certification in Technical Drawing, Drafting, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching Technical Drawing or related subjects at the secondary school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and personal development.
  • Familiarity with industry practices and standards in technical drawing and blueprint reading.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in drafting technology and pedagogical approaches.
