About the role Reporting to the senior leadership, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in the Tanjung Malim Perak region. This role offers the chance to work on strategic initiatives within a dynamic and growing company. What you'll be doing
- Establishing project plans, timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinating and managing all aspects of construction projects, including procurement, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement
- Identifying and mitigating risks to project delivery, and implementing appropriate contingency plans
- Providing regular progress updates to senior management and clients
- Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
- Leading and motivating project teams to achieve exceptional results
- Fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders
- Significant experience (7+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement project plans, manage resources, and monitor progress
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical, commercial solutions
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with construction industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
