Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering site visit to plan equipment and interconnection locations at the site and connection to the existing electrical system.
- Develop, supervise, and/or review designs of commercial and industrial scale solar systems, including electrical, structural, and mechanical aspects of the projects.
- Work with design team to confirm engineering design to decide DC equipment and AC interconnection locations at the site and connections to the existing electrical system.
- Liaise and manage sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring workmanship qualities of subcontractors during installation.
- Record, implement and manage design change requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties such as TNB, consulting firms, and local authorities on licensing matters and documentation.
- Liaise and coordinate with TNB HQ & local authorities on meter installation and grid interconnection of solar PV system.
- Setup remote monitoring system and conduct test & commissioning of the solar PV systems.
- Review deliverables at project milestones to ensure the project is within timeline and budget.
- Perform weekly reporting and new project scheduling.
- Implement best practices and safe work procedures throughout the project on site.

- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Electrical or Construction industry.
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering majoring in Electrical.
- Basic electrical knowledge is essential.
- Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required.
- Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines when required.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and result-oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
