Responsibilities:
- Programming: Writing and maintaining ABAP code for SAP applications, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Customization: Customizing existing SAP modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Debugging: Identifying and fixing issues in ABAP programs through debugging and testing.
- Documentation: Creating technical documentation for developed programs and processes.
- Support and Maintenance: Providing support for existing applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary changes or updates.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
- Minimum 5 years experience in SAP ABAP Development.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including data types, data structures, loops, and modularization techniques.
- Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, SAP ECC 6, SAP S/4HANA, and related SAP modules - EHS & EHSM.
- Ability to debug ABAP code effectively and perform thorough testing to ensure program functionality.
- Proficiency in using ABAP Development Tools (ABAP Workbench), ABAP Development Environment (ABAP in Eclipse), Web Dynpro and other relevant SAP development environments.
- Knowledge of creating interfaces like RFCs (Remote Function Calls), BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces), IDocs (Intermediate Documents), and web services for integration purposes.
- Skills in optimizing ABAP code for performance, including SQL tuning, buffering techniques, and code efficiency.
- Knowledge in product compliance on EHS topics & BOBF (Business Object Processing Framework), Web Dynpro FPM.
- Working experience in Environmental, Health and Safety Management (EHSM) like product compliance.
- Experience in data migration strategies, tools, and techniques within SAP environments.
