Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, analyzing test results, and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and safety. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the clinical team and providing valuable diagnostic information to assist in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including blood, urine, and tissue analysis.
Operate laboratory equipment, ensuring maintenance and calibration are up-to-date.
Analyze and interpret test results, providing detailed reports to physicians.
Adhere to established protocols and safety regulations in all laboratory procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and test documentation.
Ensure timely and efficient processing of laboratory samples.
Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
Certification from an accredited institution (e.g., ASCP, or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
