Chevron is accepting online applications for the Global Mobility Payroll Specialist position. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Accountable for day-to-day operations with the Global Payroll Teams, acting as lead liaison between these teams and Global Mobility for the expatriate payroll.
- Accountable for data integrity and detailed knowledge of the systems' (APro and Workday) functionalities and interfaces to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Responsible for running payrolls, handling payroll-related inquiries and issues including researching and correcting variances.
- Responsible for developing and running basic payroll-related reports in APro and Workday.
- Develop and administer trainings regarding payroll with relevant internal parties.
- Develop Pay, Tax Reconciliations and Batch Compensation Sheets, as needed.
- Participates in Global Mobility Payroll, Reporting and Analytics (EPRA) Team Projects, as assigned.
- Accountable for adhering to service level agreements and implementing improvements.
- Review payroll processes and implement improvements where required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance or any related field.
- Possess background in payroll processing.
- Must have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and independently set own work priorities with high attention to detail.
- Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers.
- Able to communicate clearly through verbal and written channels with various levels in the organization.
- Experienced with Windows based applications such as Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas), Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, and AssignmentPro (APro) systems or equivalent Global Mobility application is highly desired.
- At least 3 years of experience in international HR environment, specific to global policies and payroll processing.
- Exposure to SOX compliance is an advantage.
