Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview RecruitGo is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and integration of mechanical systems for various projects. Your primary focus will be on developing and modeling mechanical services, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, in alignment with the project’s design strategy. You will ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards while collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver seamless project outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Design:

○ Develop and model mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, piping, etc.) in conjunction with the project's design strategy. ○ Ensure that mechanical designs align with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

• BIM Coordination:

○ Collaborate closely with other construction disciplines (e.g., electrical, structural) and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. ○ Coordinate design efforts with external consultants such as architects and clients.

• Documentation and Deliverables:

○ Produce high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings, and schedules of quantities from the BIM model for pricing. ○ Prepare detailed project specifications based on product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.

• Technical Expertise:

○ Demonstrate a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC systems. ○ Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM methodologies and technologies.   Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience using Revit.
• Proven proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in building design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• AutoCAD and Solidworks background.
• IELTS certificate or similar.
• Portfolio of projects completed

• Salary: 55,000 Php
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Tentative)
