Summary We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join as an Independent Contractor. Our primary target is anyone with experience helping companies in North America (US and Canada), UK, Latin America (Argentina, Colombia, Mexico), and APAC (Singapore, Australia) move to ADP Payroll and manage the same. Help is needed on the ADP Payroll system implementation and configuration, Payroll Administration, and Payroll Master Data accuracy. Your expertise will be screened and matched to any relevant area where you may fit best. This is a fully remote position with a night shift schedule. We're forming an inaugural team in PH for this ADP Payroll implementation work. Responsibilities
- Ownership of Payroll Administration tasks. Attend to all payroll-related queries from employees and the business side. Escalate issues with the payroll vendor.
- Ensure compliance and control risk within the Payroll function, including month-end reconciliations and superannuation.
- Resolve all obligations and discrepancies on payroll taxes by reviewing Internal Revenue Service (IRS) codes and state regulations for the US and applicable regulations for APAC regions.
- Calculate Unemployment Insurance Tax rates with an overview of unemployment benefits filed by employees in preceding years for US regions.
- Responsible for the successful implementation of the General Ledger Interface (GLI).
- Update and ensure the accuracy of Payroll Master Data.
- SAP experience (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
- 2-10 years of payroll time and attendance experience, focusing on Workforce Management (WFM) and payroll operations for EMEA and ASIA regions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience with SAP payroll systems, preferably ADP GLI, ADP Payroll systems, time, accounting practices, financial reporting, and industry-standard tools.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent service orientation skills, analytical skills, and expert problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work fully remote on US or APAC daytime zones.
