Job Description
Overview: The HR Manager will be leading the HR function in the country under both the responsibility of Country managing director (operational) and HR Director (functional). The role is responsible in providing guidance and support to the management and staff on the full range of HR activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, retention, performance management, succession planning, training and employee relations. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunities, labor law and workplace safety regulations.- Management of the HR department including admin and PRO team.
- Manage visa services and immigration /work permit procedures in accordance with local legislations
- Ensure that the Human Resource Department Plan comply with and contribute effectively to the overall company Strategic PlanÂ
- Manage the development and implementation of HR objectives, policies and practices in Egypt, in support of business objectives, and to retain and motivate appropriately skilled and committed employees.
- Ensure all employment contracts are compliant with the local law
- Work closely with talent acquisition team to ensure mobilization of required personnel on time and to improve employee retention.
- Manage employee engagement activities in coordination with the engagement committee and L&D team to ensure employee satisfaction.
- Implement employee development program to enhance employee skills, knowledge and support career development and succession planning.Â
- Create a culture that supports good and harmonious relations among employees and ensure high productivity and better work ethics within the organization.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.Â
- Ensure the completion of the company mandatory training and performance review process within the given deadlines.
- Manage employee relations and communication, including handling employee grievances and disputes.
- Oversee the HR system including employee data, ensuring data accuracy and utilizing data to support HR decisions.Â
- Ensure the implementation of a comprehensive onboarding process.
- Promoting a healthy and positive working environment.Â
- Ensure Compliance with business ethics.
- To ensure equity and fairness in the workplace. Other Requirements: Well versed with Egypt labor law and expat visa requirement.Â
Maintain confidentiality of HR information
Excellent communication skills in English and ArabicÂ
Very good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Experience with international engineering consultantsÂ
