We have a remote opening for a Customer Support Specialist. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team in supporting a growing Australian rural internet business. This role is essential for capturing leads and providing exceptional customer service as the business expands due to significant government subsidies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn about our services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Capture & Customer Support : Answer incoming calls, identify customer needs, and provide information about our services, including Starlink installations, vehicle mounts, security cameras and farm connectivity solutions.
  • Business Knowledge Development : Learn about the company's services and processes to provide accurate information and support.
  • Administrative Assistance : Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support business operations.
  • Training & Scripting : Participate in training sessions to understand business specifics, common customer scenarios, and appropriate responses. Utilize provided scripts to ensure consistent communication.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Availability : Provide coverage during Australian business hours (starting 6 AM Philippines time), with potential for flexible scheduling to meet demand.
Qualifications:
  • Experience : Previous experience in customer support for IT, security, or related fields is preferred.
  • Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism. Ability to adapt communication style as needed.
  • Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with phone systems and basic administrative software. Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to think quickly and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team environment.
